OW 3 summary:

OW 3 is a soft dome tweeter (3/4") offering a unique analytic capability and high sensitivity. A very musical dome tweeter!

The special warm golden look serve as an important design parameter.
But at the same time the special coating used contributes very much to lower distortion at low frequencies which means that OW 3 has a sound distribution which compare closely to OW I and still keeps the very analythical performance known from our OW II together with the higher sensitivity seen with the OW II. Compared to the OW II, OW 3 is more linear in the 5-18 kHz area. Almost right on 90 dB typically within +/- 0,5 dB.

Very fast responding (settling), very analytical.

They come in pairs with closely matched frequency responce 0,5 dB max between curves in the frequency range 2-20 kHz to secure excellent stereo perspective.

Excellent for use in high-end 3-way loudspeaker systems in general.

Also a great choice for 2-way loudspeaker systems using broad-banded mid-bass drivers matching the quality of the tweeter.

OW 3 was designed mainly for use in private home loudspeakers but is also being used with great success in studio monitors because of its very low distortion, analytical response and very close matching.

Another increasingly important market is the Car Audio market where OW 3 now is being used frequently as a great choice within the DIY community.
