Replacement tweeter for Techniko dome tweeters...we still make them!
During quite many years (1984 - 2000) we supplied thousands of dome tweeters to Techniko in Germany (owned and lead by Berndt Grube, Bergisch-Gladbach 1) who sold these tweeters to many different small scale High End speaker manufacturers in Germany.
I do know that Berndt Grube was rather careful not to reveal the origin of these tweeters, in order to protect his business as a speaker element dealer in Germany. He had his own labels (Techniko) put on the tweeters and no one would know that in fact Hiquphon was the manufacturer.
Unfortunately Techniko stopped their business around year 2000, and a lot of old customers were left alone not knowing where to get spare parts and where to buy further quantities of these very fine dome tweeters earlier supplied by Techniko.
Well, now you know that Hiquphon was in fact the real supplier of these fine tweeters and we have been in contact with a few of these "old customers" who succeeded to find the original manufacturer, Hiquphon.
We can (and are happy to) supply all the old versions. Just contact us and let’s find out the types you used in the past.
